Back Home

Well NZ was terrific, so much so that I really didn't have tome to do any updating of the blog while there. I'll throw some bits up over the next few weeks.

Overall, the trip was great. We fished more waters than we should have been allowed. The fish averaged from 2.5-4.5 pounds over all with everyone getting some to several in the 5-6 pound range. We got a few over 7 pounds, with the biggest coming from Chris on the last day at 9.5 pounds.

Back in Queesntown

The weather has been tough this past week but everyone managed to get plenty of fish and has had a great time. I've got no pics today, but will get a few up in the next week or so.

I learned that the Matarua below Gore has lots of fish and nice ones too. I always though it was known for it having wee ones. All of the other guys had good days down there, I tried throwing some Clouser minnows and got a lot of follows but no eats.

We've fished a ton of rivers over the past week, too many to rattle off here for sure. They all have fish in them, but you need to know where to go according to the weather.

Anyway, NZ has been terrific so far and I'l put some pics up later in the week.
