Last day for a week today. Another solid outing by the fish of SW Montana as they were highly cooperative most of the day and maintained their fondness for worms. Beautiful weather right now here in the Bozone with mild threats of rain in the forecast for tomorrow. I am looking forward to catching up on some sleep and doing some fishing with friends the next few days.
We've been working on a random fishing adventure the last week with the destination focusing on waters that we don't normally fish and involve some degree of pain in the assness. Choices ranged from Idaho to Dillon to N. Montana, but we ended up deciding on the Bow in Calgary. It fits our criteria on several fronts and is lock for the pain in the ass factor. 10 hours drive coming our way tomorrow for 2.5 days of fishing. I don't quite understand my relentless addiction to fishing for trout, but I am all for keeping it fed.
