BLAH BLAH BLAH HAH HAH HAH.
Made it home last night and back to work this morning for a couple of days. Working on orders and getting stuff together to go see my sone this weekend near Idaho.
Needless to say, the trip to Louisiana was a great one for the ages in my book. Seems like I typically get the crap weather and the consistent arrival of the inevitable shit show in anyone of a zillion possible ways.  But, this one went great with great weather, great guides, great food, great rooms, and even better people to spend the day on the water with.
Redfish aren't hard fish to catch on a fly, but they are fun as hell. Whether they are 4 lbs or 25+lbs, the eat is great, the tug is good enough, and when conditions are right…the chances are plentiful. I used 3 or 4 flies over 3 days of fishing and it really didn't matter which one they saw…if they were hungry and my sloppy cast didn't spook them…they were on. The risk one takes this time of year is getting cancelled if the weather is crap, ours was great. Should be on everyone's list, whether it's Texas or Louisiana, Redfish are fun…Louisiana ones are bigger though.
I already booked for next year!
