As expected in an unexpected, yet typical manner, the powers that be decided to jack up the flows on the lower this morning. I did not check before I headed out this afternoon. Needless to say, lots of bugs, trees, wood, and other crap floating down the river tonight. Nada with the rising fish things…it was but a dream. Maybe if the flows stabilize again as the bugs are thick and they were eating up last night. One of my guides had a good day out there today on crawdads, but he was done early.
