And we're back. Good day on the Yellowstone today with fish eating hoppers and stone nymphs. The number of midnight stone shucks on the rocks and hoppers along the banks was staggering at times. Even saw some stoneflies flying around, along with Tricos, some Yellow drakes, red quill's and other bugs. Fish were rising in slow water, eating hoppers where they should…life is good once again. Purple was the color of the day, some fly we sell that I don't know the name of but they liked it.
Amazing how much better a good day makes me feel both physically and mentally. Im still tired, but no longer grumpy and apathetic. Have a couple days free of shoveling water to get a little recharge and caught up once again in the shop. New signage is up at the shop finally…check it out.
