Back to Reality

Toured Yellowstone today with my family as well as a small percentage of folks from Missouri, Texas, Utah, and Oklahoma. Had a very nice day with lots of wildlife sightings, some river analysis, and the second best Huckleberry Milkshake around.
From the fishing perspective...the Gallatin is fishable above the Taylor's Fork with a foot or so of viz. It's better in the park, but not great. TF is the main culprit in the current stated of affairs on the Gallatin. The Madison in the park looked good as did the Gibbon, both are high but fishable and with plenty of viz. The Yellowstone is dirty at Tower so I imagine it is higher up as well with record outflows coming from Yellowstone Lake. Soda Butte and the Lamar are junk, didn't notice Slough Creek. Duck creek looked good. Rocky Creek looked good from the interstate.
Getting closer. Up to the Mo tomorrow, might end up on the Dearborn.
