Had some weather move in yesterday and settle in last night making for a partly cloudy day, slight breeze, and high in the 60's! Got to wear the new zip up waders and try for some better fish on the lower Madison with a father/son team. Had a bite that was good for most of the day, a bit spotty here and there but good fish overall, we only got a few that were smaller than 14" and landed several in the 17-20 range dragging streamers and crayfish.
Nice cool weather kind of got things looking and feeling good on the lower today. No tubers, only a couple other boats, and very few weeds to speak of...relatively speaking that is.
