Life has just been too crazy around here for too long now, I have no desire to blog or philosophize about the fish world these days. BUT, the wife gets home tomorrow so things should at least be stable for a few weeks.
So, the long and the short of today is the lower Madison had a good to very good hopper bite going on today from Warm Springs to Cherry Creek. The bite slowed down after that, probably just as much due to the warming water of the afternoon than anything. Getting some floating weeds now but everything is still manageable. We did lose a Pig today that blew up on a hopper in a bucket, other than that...just a bunch of mid-sized rainbows in the buckets. Little tan Morrish hopper.
