There not much out there in the world that beats sitting in a drift boat while drifting down mile after mile of clean, cold water while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of SW Montana. Good for the soul, especially mine.
Floated Varney to BT today with a couple of buddies and had a good time, even got some fish.The boat fishing was spotty, but we got a few good fish to take a second look at some sculpin patterns. Nymphing corner pools and buckets found enough good fish to make it a really nice day. Worms.
