Another stellar day on the Yellowstone was had by all that I saw. Floated Yankee Jim which is really Corwin to Pt. of Rocks with some big waves in a couple of spots...new raft is awesome except when I hit rocks really hard and dude's aren't holding on. Got fish to eat dries all day, never even put a dropper on and a whitefish was not seen. Little dries at first but we ended with a pink hopper pretty quick and stuck with it as they were eating it when it was thrown in the vicinity of the right water 1 out of every 17 times...would have liked to see what it was like if that ratios was more like 10 out of 17 as 1 out of 17 still got a lot of fish. PMDs, Sallies, and Caddis started moving around early afternoon, but I resisted the urge to go little as everything is better with pink. No tragedies today with the exception being that I have gotten up way too early the last two days. Think we are going streamer fishing tomorrow...maybe well have a good day and do the Jefferson on the last day just to keep everything in perspective.
