Last couple days have been a combination of shop and family time, which honestly has been very good. The weather has been too nice for me to get too jacked up about fishing right now, but a front is supposed to be here in a bit and the forecast is for 60-70's the next week.
Once we get into this time of year…shorter days, cooler nights…I always like a little clouds and rain over a steady high pressure system. The bugs get more active, the browns start moving around again, and wire worm days are getting close. Speaking of wire worms, we got a few boxes of tan and yellow double gong's in yesterday. What does that have to do with wire worms? It's the wire worm version of streamers. on the water the next couple of weeks more days than not and feeling good about the outlook.
