Spent the afternoon with a great friend, my youngest son, and the best bird dog I've ever had. Beats the hell out of fertilizing the yard and doing household labor.
The dog is in his 14th year and not much of a runner anymore. He hadn't been chasing birds in a few years, yet once he got the sniff of gunpowder and bird stink…it was plain to see that this is what he was meant to do. I'm so thankful to have been able to share so many awesome adventures with Tao, hope he sticks around for a few more!
