Radio silence is over. The rest of the week at Tflats sucked, bad weather, wind, rain, unsettled pressure and so on. Good time though and always fun fishing rather than working.
I've been home since Sunday, the rest of the family is still in Texas, so I've been getting caught up, fished a bit, and guiding a bit. Ok, caught up. Got it?
Yeah, it has been hot here and the rivers are warming up. Fishing has been good in the mornings, slowing down by 1 or 2, depending on where one goes. Earlier is better and it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a fish whisperer to figure that one out.
Had a very good day today on the upper Madison for a change. Some fish on dries, fish on nymphs. Rubberlegs and a LGM. Fish ate the LGM good all day. LGM? Google it. Not a secret, but too many words to type tonight.
Moral of the story of the day? Fishing is fun, Montana is awesome, clean rivers are to be cherished.
