Spent the last two days musing around with the new boat. Lower yellowstone yesterday with my dad and Quake today. Fishing ok, not great both days, but boat is badass. Pushes through skinny water and the platform plus remote trolling motor made lake fishing pretty fun to me for a change.
I've never been a big fan of jet boats on the rivers when I'm in the drift boat and enjoying the quietness of the river. However, there is a different perspective when I'm driving the jet boat. Hard to balance what is right and what is wanted.
I was so jacked up yesterday that I was literally shaking the first couple of hours and I was giddy all day long today. So, I'll be kind to others but digging my world. Cutties tomorrow.
