Snail Trail on the Lower Madison

Another brutally hot GD day here in the Bozone. I have not sweat like this since the one time in my life that I loaded hay bales in my teens while working at a summer camp in east Texas.
Fish were eating on the lower though, little black bugs behind a crayfish. Did some bucket banging with a wire worm and double AB's too. Better early as things are warming up quite quickly. Weeds were pretty bad too. My anchor rope sucked today too.
Plan had been to go to the upper, but nobody else was on the lower…so what the hell. Looking forward to another cool down heading our way, betting that early next week is going to see some good fishing. Gonna work like hell to make some magic happen tomorrow on the upper.
