First day of the year with the jet boat out. Typical 45 minutes spent this morning trying to get lifejackets, stickers, and batteries all put together. Looked at the spare tire on the garage floor and thought to myself..."won't be needing that."
We headed west in a hurry, early. Thump, thump, thump. Awesomesauce. Turned back around and headed back to the house for the spare. After an hour or so delay, we were back on our way. Just in time of the arrival of 30-40 mph winds, More awesomesauce.
However, we got to where we wanted to go and put the thumping on the fish for an hour or two. Honestly;y. I could have stayed out there all day in the wind, watching my indicator go down and down and down. Fishing was good.
Jet boats kind of rock. Might be my favorite toy...ever!
