Nothing Spectacular

The lower again today. Water is clear and low and there are still plenty of weeds on the bottom of the river. I've found that nothing picks them up better than a Zonker and an AB splitshot. Good times. Very little love today on the standard fare of crawdads and little nymphs. Ended up switching to pinkies and tiny shiny flies and just concentrating on the buckets with a lot of weight. It worked out alright for us, lost some good fish landed a few ok fish and lots of dinks. The fish I pumped all just had black flies in them for whatever that's worth. I haven't quite figure that thing out. There were a few decent sized BWO's midday but not enough to get excited about.
