The lower was slower today. I'm blaming it on a settled high pressure system. Had a good bite the first hour or so, but things quickly slowed down once the sun got up. Good anglers but the fish were tough to find for most of the day. Ended up losing a few good fish and getting a handful of dinks.
Days like this make you stop and think hmmm? Why? I've had such good fishing for a long time now, so I was probably due.
Still had a good day with some great guys. Lots of laughs and they got to drink some beer in the sunshine. "Honey Badger don't care"...look it up on U-tube if you haven't seen it. I'm here to add value and dimensionality to the less serious side of life at times too.
