'Tis the season for ever changing water conditions when talking rivers and streams. We're seeing most of the local rivers getting chunky right now and this will be the case until we get the next good freeze. The rivers will drop quickly and come back into shape as the flows go back down and clear a little bit. We'll be watching the flows closely and making updates as things change.
One cool new tool in the conditions monitoring world is an App for the Iphone called Fishhead. Check it out as there is weather and stream flow information for pretty much every river that is monitored in the US. It costs 5 or 6 bucks, but is worth it. I've got all the guages and rivers that I watch on my list and it is out of this world crazy good! Check it out.
