As expected, the lower Madison came up a bunch today just when things are starting to look really good in that direction. Just how things seem to be rolling as of late. Lots of Caddis out now, some sporadic rises, March Browns, BWO's and water clarity is 2' plus above Cherry Creek, dirtier below. I ran out there this evening to see how things look, I have a guide trip tomorrow and it looks like the river is in great shape for fishing junk and maybe finding some heads up if the wind stays down. It's also about the only show in town right now outside of the spring creeks. If the flows stabilize tonight, it should fish well tomorrow.
