Headed east again today as the forecast was for calm winds and sunny skies, got the skies right but they were wrong about the wind. It blew like hell from the west which made for a speedy run down the river with flies zipping along a mach 5 just beyond my oars. Neither of which is a good combo for catching fish. Still managed to have a lot of laughs, get a few to eat dries and a few to eat some nymphs too. I am remained baffled as to the lack of interest in stonefly nymphs.
