Fish seemed a little pickier today as the rubberlegs and worms just weren't getting it done real well, ok, but not too well. Switched it up to a more realistic golden stone and a standard hare's ear and the fish liked that a lot. Shorter days and cooler nights have really got things back to normal the last 2 weeks, which has made life for myself and my homies much better than late July.
Tricos' have been out for awhile now and today was the perfect morning for it, even saw some decent fish rising. Couple more days around here and then off to the Horn for a week, looking forward to it.

Lower Gallatin fish were picky today? Should have been the first boat through I guess. Oh well, maybe next time.

Close, but no one was ahead of me yesterday, or if they were they left a bunch of hungry fish that wanted a Kingrey Golden Stone nymph much more than a little rubberleg. Should have gone down a little lower in the system.
