Everyday seems like groundhog day, which is not a bad thing but just is a thing. 5 am kind of sucks to be honest.
Anyway, another day of fish eating stonefly nymphs which is always much more fun than those days during which they don't eat stonefly nymphs. I am looking forward to the day when they choose to eat hoppers though. Tricos? Yes there are Tricos out on the lower Yellowstone and the skilled angler can find some good fish in skinny water late morning and into the early afternoon. They just started going good a few days ago down there and it's one of those hatches that I get excited about but rarel
y get the chance to actually work too much because they are also eating stonefly nymphs which is just a helluva lot easier!
