Back to the upper today with promises of beautiful weather from all the weather sites. It was beautiful, but the wind did blow more than advertised. Still, the scene throughout the day was blue skies, changing tree leaves, with a white backdrop of the Madison range covered in snow. Not the best conditions for streamer fishing but hey...it's fall and that's what you do. We ended up getting double digit numbers, but nothing bigger than 17".
A glorious day nonetheless with enough tugs to keep us all paying attention and enough wind to keep me alert through the skinny water. I have to admit, I kind of like this time of year best of all.
