As promised, hit the pow pow yesterday and fished today. Skiing was good, fishing sucked.
Had that feeling today that the lower would be good as it was overcast and calm here in town. It was windy as shit out there, about 40mph and there is still lots of ice left from last week. Other than that, the water was in good shape so it should be fishing well enough on a more settled day. The ice is still pretty thick on the edges and extends out quite aways in most places. The shallow weed beds are frozen over still as well, so the weedbed buckets are pretty hard to get to for the time being. Still, beats the hell out of staring at spreadsheets and outfitter logs.
