Made it to big D with the family yesterday as we get ready for our version of family vacation for spring break. First stop, Bass Pro Shops where we ran in and bought two heavy duty Zebco outfits with some fancy engraving and pre-rigged with 14 lbs. line. At $49.99 each, kind of cheeper than getting that first fly or even Tenkara setup! Then I asked the guy what they had in terms of flavored plastic baits. His eyes kind of bugged out a bit and we went right to a little section tucked away in the corner where a variety of things packages labeled as GULP. Who knew? Needless to say, we are now the proud owners of a variety of plastic crabs that have been soaked in GULP for their entire existence.
